About Jeff

Jeff Szyperski’s office is located at the Main Office of Chesapeake Bank in Kilmarnock. He has 34 years of banking experience. Jeff is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and The Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University. Prior to his banking career, he was a Certified Public Accountant.

Jeff served as Chairman of the American Bankers Association for their October 2018-19 term and is a former member of the ABA Board of Directors. He served as Chairman of the Virginia Bankers Association for their June 2012-13 term, is a former member of the VBA Board of Directors, and is immediate past Chairman of the VBA Education Foundation. He is a current member of the Federal Reserve Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council, the GO Virginia Region 6 Council and Executive Committee, and the Bon Secours Rappahannock General Hospital Campaign Committee. Jeff was a member of the Lancaster County Economic Development Authority 2003-2023, and he served as Chairman 2015-2018. He is a past Chairman and member of the Chesapeake Academy Board of Trustees and a past Chairman and member of the Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury, Inc. Board of Trustees
