Text banking commands
Imagine this, you’re on the go and you’ve got your Chesapeake bank accounts right in your pocket, just a text away. These nifty text commands are here, ready to help you take control. But remember, they’re not picky about upper or lower case. Also, if you have an automated signature on your mobile device, switch it off or else these commands might get a little confused.
- Want to know your account balances? Just type: BAL
- Need the balance for a specific account? Type: BAL[space]last four account digits
- Looking for the last five transactions? Type: HIST
- Need the history for a specific account? Type: HIST[space]last four account digits
- Need to move money between your accounts? Type: XFER[space]last four account digits from[space]last four account digits to[space]amount
- Stuck? Need some help? Type: HELP
- Time for a break from Text Banking? Type: SUSPEND or STOP
And hey, don’t forget about text alerts. You can set them up for balance monitoring and transaction notifications. Just head to Online Banking or the ChesBank mobile app . Log in and go to Profile & Settings>> Text Alerts>> Click Add Alert. It’s as simple as that!
