About Steve

Steve Cornwell, Vice President Wealth Management Advisor and Infinex Investment Consultant for Chesapeake Wealth Management, has two decades of experience as a financial advisor. A native of Greater Richmond, Steve has held Vice President of Investment positions at several well-respected institutions in the Richmond area, including Wells Fargo Advisors, Merrill Lynch, and Wachovia Securities, helping hundreds of families manage their wealth and achieve their financial goals. He is also a Representative of Osaic Institutions, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC.

Steve earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from Randolph-Macon College. He holds Series 7 (General Securities), Series 6 (Mutual Funds), Series 63 (Uniform Securities Agent) and Series 65 (Uniform Investment Adviser) registrations, as well as licenses in Life and Health Insurance and Variable Annuities. Steve resides in Richmond with his wife and four sons. He is active in the Tuckahoe Little League, Bon Air Basketball, YMCA, St. Mary’s Church and NOVA Swim Club.
