Eric D. Floyd is the Regional Executive for the Lower Peninsula market – leading our teams from Williamsburg to Hampton. Eric brings over 15 years of banking experience and is a 2021 graduate of the Virginia Bankers Association’s School of Bank Management, where he proudly served as Class President. He graduated in 2016 from LEAD Peninsula, a Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce-sponsored program. He also earned his leadership certification from the Learning in Action: Focused on Leadership Excellence program, Class of 2018. Eric has spent over 20 years making community service and advocacy the cornerstones of his leadership.

Currently, he serves as the President-Elect for the Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; Board President for Peninsula READS, a local non-profit focused on helping adult literacy and those who have English as a second language; and Vice-Treasurer for the Newport News Public Library Foundation. Over the years he has also served on several other committees, youth councils, and financial coaching forums. He says, “It is important to me to share what I have learned and experienced to help others in need.”
