Hurst is the Northern Neck Regional Executive and Senior Commercial Lender based in our Kilmarnock Lending Office. He started his banking career in 2009 as a Branch Manager, transitioning to commercial lending in 2013. Hurst’s lending experience includes equipment financing, debt consolidation, working capital, lines of credit, residential mortgages, commercial construction/renovation, and commercial real estate lending for owner-occupied and income producing/investment properties.

Hurst received his Bachelor’s Degree in Forest Products Marketing & Management from Virginia Tech, and a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in Accounting from VCU. He has completed the Risk Management Associations Commercial Lending School at East Carolina University, and the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at UVA.
